About the role

** This role can be located in either Perth or Brisbane**

A Denver Scrum Master is responsible for guiding the successful completion of delivery streams within the organisation on behalf of our clients. You will be expected to work across concurrent deliveries / streams of work, for internal and external clients. You will need to be highly flexible as our client’s commitment to and maturity around agile work practices is variable, both from a methodology and tooling perspective. Your job will be to coordinate and lead delivery activities in collaboration with Denver’s Team Leads and Growth Engine Owners, whilst actively managing client expectations around deliverables. You will provide leadership and resource coordination in collaboration with Team Leads to keep deliverables on target, attend team meetings and provide guidance to the team. You will prepare internal and external communications as required and act as Denver’s client facing representative to report and champion progress. The successful candidate will have the ability to actively seek opportunities for process improvement / advocate for these changes through the delivery team network and broader Denver Team.

You will have

  • 5-10 years IT industry experience with software / hardware and associated services delivery.
  • 5 years previous experience in a similar role, responsible for project delivery.
  • Experience in using Agile processes and toolsets in a project delivery setting.
  • Familiarity with traditional Project Management processes and tools and how they relate to project delivery.
  • Ability to function autonomously in a rapidly changing business landscape.
  • To demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing priorities and resource availability.


  • Scrum Master Certification.
  • PRINCE2 / Agile Practitioner Certification or similar.
  • A deep understanding of what it means to be Agile.
  • Facilitation, negotiation, and expectation management skills.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management Tools such as Azure Dev Ops, JIRA or similar.
  • Experience with PSA toolsets such as Mavenlink.
